Consulting

Leading with Evidence-Based Treatment Programs

Scott Spradlin, LPC, LMAC, is available for general speaking and consulting, including program evaluation, staff training and implementation of trauma-informed and mindfulness-based treatments. As an intensively trained DBT practitioner, Scott has over 20 years experience implementing treatment programs in community mental health settings, hospital-based crisis centers and juvenile residential treatment facilities.

He has been an adjunct instructor at Wichita State University in the counseling department teaching courses on DBT, cognitive-behavioral therapy and religion and spirituality in counseling, and has conducted continuing education seminars for mental health professionals.

“The most regulated brain in the room sets the tone for the room.”

— Scott Spradlin

Founded in DBT and interpersonal neurobiology, Scott’s evidence-based practices result in better outcomes for patients. With the common road map of a custom-designed curriculum, staff feel safe and supported, and reinforce each other’s emotional regulation, while patients feel confident in the staff’s unity and consistency. Scott not only teaches DBT skills, but demonstrates how to practice interpersonal effectiveness, for example, in resolving common triangulation power struggles.

The consulting program includes intermittent followup to support leadership in embodying key principals and interacting with staff. Scott is also available to speak to specialized audiences such as educators, churches or physicians. If you’re interested in working with Scott in any of these capacities, please fill out the brief form below.
